March 2012 content-site income

March 2012 income:

more after the jump:

Blogging milestones

This was the third-highest month for page views and the second-highest month for AdSense earnings in the seven-and-a-half years I've had an AdSense account. Also this month, I had my two highest single days of Adsense earnings, and I received my first AdSense payment ($110).

(Blogging earnings are not included in the spreadsheets below.)

Content Sites

Most of my income this month came from WriterAccess. I worked mostly on direct orders at WA and mostly on team orders at Textbroker. I was burnt out on CloudCrowd and did very little there. I wrote one article, just to test the waters, at MediaPiston. I did not write anything new on Helium or Yahoo.

Notes on revenue share:

I received $32.82 in revenue share from Demand Studios for four articles, down significantly from the $54.57 I received last month and the lowest since May 2011. The average per article was still way ahead of the other sites, though. I earned about $9.00 in revenue share from Helium for 266 articles, along with 37 cents in referral credit, but didn't make enough to cash out. I received $2.94 from Yahoo for two months of revenue share for 156 articles.

Average revenue share per article for the month:

Demand Studios: $8.20
Helium: $0.03
Yahoo Contributor Network: $0.01
